The Archaeological Collection

The archaeological collection of the Heinrich Schliemann-Institute is a study collection serving the tuition of students. It is open to the public with some limitations, guided tours are offered at regular intervals, but it can also be visited upon request.
Rostock University's collection was expanded considerably in 2009 through the permanent loan of Greifswald University's collection. The objects from both collections are presented in two rooms.



Opening Hours

The museum in the Heinrich Schliemann-Institute can be visited on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  during the summer semester of 2017.


The collection of casts in the Ulmenstrasse is open to the public on Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the summer semester of 2017.
